Important notices to all users of this tariff
The international fares and rules herein generally require the approval of one or more governments prior to becoming effective. A specific and important
illustration of the foregoing relates to fares and rules agreed upon by IATA carriers for transportation to or from the United States, which must be approved by the United States Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) prior to becoming effective. D.O.T. also asserts jurisdiction over IATA fares and rules not involving
transportation to and from the United States, and may impose conditions on their use. At the time of printing this edition, many of the fares and rules herein have
not been approved by the D.O.T. and/or other concerned government(s) or conditions of approval may not be known. Before applying a fare or rule, the user should contact the issuing carrier.
By authority of Special Permission No. 25038, the Air Transport Committee of the National Transportation Agency has granted a departure from Section
143(1)(A) of the Air Carrier Regulations which requires tariffs be maintained in every place where carriers sell passenger tickets. This publication duplicates, in
part, fares, rules and information applicable to Canadian tariffs for the Western Hemisphere and filed in Airline Tariff Publishing Company, Agent, Tariff NTA(A)

a conflict between material filed herein and that found in the aforementioned tariffs, the latter shall be deemed correct. Tariff NTA(A) Nos. 231, 273, 292, 301,
